This school year, make a commitment to MAKE
YOUR CHILD A WINNER! Our
programs give children unstoppable confidence ♦ build healthy, fit and
strong bodies ♦ teaches kids to become “BULLY PROOF” ♦ helps to
excel in other sports ♦ makes your kid a leader, not a follower ♦
develops concentration and focus ♦ forces kids to raise their
self-expectations ♦ will give your kid the upper hand on life… for
the rest of his or her life! Thanks for stopping by to visit! Like every other parent you love your children, and
regardless of the natural talent they have (or don't have) you want only
the best for them. You provide them with love, shelter, education, food, home
training… but what about the benefits listed above? You get all of them and
more with martial arts and fitness training! Think of all the insecurities we feel as adults, about ourselves: ü How we look ü Our health and fitness level ü Our performance at work, our education, etc. ü Our achievements and mission in life How much do
you want to bet, that children suffer the same insecurities you do? But more
than that, your child’s peers frequently point them out and actually make those
feelings worse. Look, most children have the access to the same
thing—loving parents, public education, school sports, fun
activities—to help them excel in life. Some kids will naturally do well, but
most others need a push. Our training program offers just that—a push: ·
Combats childhood obesity (if you are overweight,
chances are great that your child will be too) ·
Strength training unparalleled by any other sport or
activity ·
Teaches aggressive children to control their
aggression ·
Helps to make timid kids more aggressive ·
Fosters a healthy and respectful sense of
competitiveness against their #1 obstacle:
themselves At King Eagles Karate, we’re not just any old shopping
center Karate school; there are enough of those around. We are a traditional
Southeast Asian martial arts school that brings old-school training methods and
(and always non-religious) philosophy to the modern world. In the world of the
martial arts, our students will stand out from their peers because our training
is certainly not easy… they will work out as hard as any champion. Within their
first 6 months, students will set and achieve goals that will amaze you. Within
a year they should be in peak physical condition—regardless of what their
fitness level is right now. Students will study foreign language and a little
world history. They will work towards the academic goals we’ve set for them and
learn a thing or two about “raising standards”. (May I mention that only a
straight – A student can receive a Black Belt from our school? Yep! They need a
“C” average just to remain a member, they must
maintain a minimum of a “C” to keep earned rank, a “B” average to receive senior
ranks, and an “A” average to graduate.) ![]() Your kids will learn to walk away from a fight, and how to
say “NO” to negative peer pressure. If ever in a situation where they can’t
walk away, they’ll have the skills to take care of business. Students won’t
have any problem making friends with the right kids, because with our guidance
and the confidence they’ll develop, trouble-makers will stay away from them,
and the smart kids will gravitate towards them. And speaking of trouble-makers, no one
can control where they go and where they hang out. But I can promise you
this: they won’t hang out in our school. So, what are you’re kids doing after
school? (Make sure to inquire about our After-School program) Ah, but I digress—stay with me if you
can: Remember the kid at school who always won all the
awards? How about your high school’s star athlete? Or the smartest kid in
class? Was there ever a guy or gal everyone knew growing up with graduate and
go on to be some big-shot businessman or businesswoman? I know, that even
today, you’ve got a “boy wonder” or “girl wonder” on the job that’s on a fast
rising elevator, while the rest of us plod along the corporate ladder! Doesn’t
it seem that some folks are always
on top of the world? ![]() While most of us struggle to stay average, these guys
excelled, perfected—and made it all seem SO
DARNED EASY! Well, you see – when you ooze
confidence and self-respect (not arrogance) – everything you do does
come easy. While some avoid competition, you welcome it. The others loathe
constructive criticism; you use it to get stronger and better. When everyone
else notices a flaw in themselves, it keeps them up at
night… but you? You see it as a chance to improve. Confidence, fellow parents,
is something that empowers a kid to eat his or her obstacles for breakfast.
This is the kid of kid who says no to negative peer pressure. This is the kind
of kid who is bullet-proof to teasing. This is the kind of kid who wins awards.
One who is never satisfied with just Bs and Cs. One who will never settle for
being second best. Now, the “Secret”: As complex and sophisticated as Karate
is, it ain’t rocket science. Confidence, discipline and self-respect are
by-products of a centuries-old Asian method of kicking butt and taking names.
But really, it isn’t about fighting… totally. Martial arts training—authentic martial arts training—is very
physically demanding. Students expect to have near-superhuman powers by the
time he or she reaches the Black Belt level. And to tell the truth, once you
see what your kid will be capable of by then—50 pushups in one drop, take on
two opponents in a self-defense situation, break boards—it will seem like your kids are superhuman. All along the way, your
kid is getting closer and closer to those goals, one small triumph at a time,
one tiny notch more of confidence and the “I-can-do-it” attitude, and closer to
the realization that “not only can I do it; I just did!” There is nothing better for building
confidence than achieving what was once believed to be impossible. In every
Karate class, 1% will make it to the Black Belt level (may not be the case in
an easier, less challenging program, but more on that later). That means 99%
will drop out for a myriad of reasons (ahem,
“excuses”): ·
It’s too hard ·
Lost focus ·
Lack of commitment ·
No discipline to finish what was started ·
Not being challenged enough Here’s a good one:
“It’s soccer season”. (As if you can’t do two sports at the same
time) All we’ve got to do is make sure your kid becomes part of that one
percent. The truth about a full traditional program is that it isn’t easy, and
the kids who finish are part of an elite few. Look at it like this. When your
children achieve what 99% of his or her peers fail to achieve, they’ll be ready
to conquer the world. ![]() It’s that simple! Now, here’s what is NOT simple: the journey. There are basically two schools of thought in the
martial arts world (there are some who call this world an “industry”). One
group believes in making Karate and the Black Belt accessible to everyone. They
believe in tailoring the classes so that any kid—regardless of how hard, or how
rarely, they practice—can get a Black Belt. These schools usually lower the
bar, charge outrageous and frequent test fees, and even shorten the path to
Black Belt to two or three years. The second group says, “stick to tradition”;
raises standards and asks students to turn it up a notch; promote when students
are ready, gets the slower kids more training, and makes this process a true
rite of passage. I’m traditional. We’ve combined 4 martial arts
disciplines into a cohesive system of self-defense and fitness. Students will
learn the beautiful forms of Chinese Kung Fu and Japanese/Okinawan styles. They
will learn the complex kicking methods of Korean styles. There will be limited
study of the practical hand to hand tactics of the Filipino styles. And lastly,
your kids will learn an array of beautiful yet difficult weapon forms from
three countries. Add to this the great physical demands of traditional training
and feats of strength and power breaking, after countless hours of practice and
perfection your kids will develop SUPER POWERS. Now, any kid
who can get through a program like this can certainly complete a college
degree, or play professional sports, or get and academic scholarship. ![]() We’ll work with any kid who wants to
learn. Whether your child is shy and weak, overweight, or a star athlete, we’ll
take them. If you kid is an A student, or has failing grades, we’ll take them.
If your child is disabled or has special needs… we’ll take them. Our motto is
“this ain’t your little brother’s Karate school.” It isn’t. We are looking to
transform lives, train winners, and help your kids just have a great childhood.
If you desire these things for your kids too, give us a call. Email kingeagleyubacity@yahoo.com

school’s Master has trained and competed all over the world, and brings you
four martial arts styles in one program. Well it’s definitely affordable. There are two ways to sign up. If you’re not sure
you’re ready to commit and would like to try it month-to-month with no

and you’re both ready to complete your Black Belt, you can train for $95 a
